When it’s Earth Day….
Farmers and ranchers will still be doing what they do best. Farm and ranch.
So you have food. So you have clothing.
They do it because they love it. It’s in their blood. They can’t imagine doing anything else, even when they’ve lost a calf, or when hail destroys a crop. They weather the hardships because they are eternal optimists.
Farming isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s a labor of love, a commitment to the land, and dedication to the next generation.
So even though people will be celebrating the Earth at festivals and events across the country on Earth Day, to most farmers and ranchers it will just be another day.
And they will still be doing what they do best: taking care of the animals and the land that they love.
